Expert Hip Pain Physical Therapy in San Antonio, TX
Get back to your sport, pain-free and stronger than ever. 1-hour sessions with board-certified sports specialists who understand what athletes need.

Hip Pain Is Holding You Back From Your Best Performance
Every day you wait, your athletic performance suffers and compensation patterns get worse.
Missing Games and Training
You're watching from the sidelines instead of competing. Your hip pain is keeping you out of practices, games, and the gym when you should be at your peak.
Relying on Quick Fixes
Pain meds and ice only mask the problem temporarily. You need real solutions that address the root cause, not just cover up symptoms until your next game.
Getting Generic Treatment
Traditional PT clinics treat you like everyone else—20-minute appointments, cookie-cutter programs, and no understanding of what athletes actually need to perform.

What San Antonio Athletes Say About Puckett PT
Rated 5.0 stars with 167+ Google reviews
"I came in with a low back herniation, and Dr. Garcia has been helping me get better. He listened to everything I was feeling, explained what was going on in a way I could actually understand, and created a treatment plan that truly worked for me. He also performed dry needling, which made a huge difference in relieving my pain."
-Kyle W.
"I'm 4 weeks into rehabbing a torn hip flexor. I went from running 30 miles/wk training for a marathon to waking up in intense pain that lasted through the day and night. Dr. Knapp has led me through a focused and thoughtful recovery process. I feel like my physical recovery and continued success matters to this team."
- Tim S.
"I'm a nurse and I injured my lower back during work. It was the best decision because they are not your average PT clinic, it's physical therapy tailored just for you. It's 1 to 1 so it's not like your typical therapy office working around several people. They genuinely care about not only healing your injuries but getting you back to your normal routine."

Hip Pain PT FAQs
Common questions about our hip pain physical therapy services in San Antonio
Do you accept insurance for hip pain physical therapy?
We're a cash-based practice, which means we don't bill insurance directly. This allows us to provide full 1-hour, 1-on-1 sessions without insurance restrictions on your care. We create personalized treatment plans based on what you actually need—not what insurance approves. We can provide documentation for you to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
How long are hip pain physical therapy sessions?
Every session is a full 60 minutes of 1-on-1 care with your physical therapist. You're never double-booked with other patients. This gives us time to properly assess your movement, perform hands-on treatment, guide you through exercises, and ensure you understand your program. Most athletes see us 1-2 times per week depending on their goals.
What should I bring to my first hip pain PT appointment?
Wear athletic clothing you can move comfortably in (shorts are ideal for hip assessments). Bring athletic shoes and any sport-specific gear if relevant to your activities. If you have imaging (X-rays, MRI) or physician notes, bring those as well. We'll handle the rest—our facility has all the equipment you need for evaluation and treatment.
